Dodo Utmazgin is an Israeli pastry chef, who owns a confectionery chain that bears his name and has 20 branches in Israel.
At the age of 21, after his military service, he started working in a bakery.

He began his culinary studies at the "Tadmor" cooking school in Herzliya.
After about a year of study, he moved to Paris to study at the Ecole Lenôtre, Bellout conseil, and the Ferrandi school.

He continued to study with Dobos C. József in Hungary, Pierre Hermé and Le Cordon Bleu in France, and Callebaut, Chocolate-Academy in Belgium.

In parallel with his studies, he consulted on confectionery matters, and ran a regular section in the local newspaper "Hed Krayot" on the subject of cake baking.

In 1998, he opened the first pastry shop named after him, "Uncle Otmazgin," in Kiryat Motzkin.
Since then, it has become a national chain, under the company "Dudo Otmazgin Patisserie Ltd.", which currently has about 20 branches throughout Israel.
